Daniel Mouthon, 1952
Daniel Mouthon studied at Zurich Conservatory, taking degrees in piano with
Jürg von Vintschger,
in vocals with Kathrin
Graf and in composition with Gerald Bennett.
Since 1985 he works as a composer,
mainly in the fields of musical theatre and multimedia.
As an improvising and interpreting vocalist he performed a.o. works of
Luciano Berio, John Cage and
Peter Maxwell Davies.
He teaches at the University of Zurich and does research work
for the 'Institut für Theorie der Gestaltung und Kunst (ith)' at HGKZ
(Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zürich).
